Dr. Ana Paula Marques has many years of experience practicing evidence-based general Dentistry with a calm nature, empathy and professional attitude during the treatment. Prior to moving to Australia, Dr. Ana gained extensive experience in orthodontics, ranging from preventive and interceptive Orthodontics in children to teenagers and adult treatments.
Originally from Brazil, Ana Paula completed her B.D.S. degree and worked in all aspects of Dentistry for more than a decade, when she dedicated herself to further training in Endodontics and Restorative dentistry, until discovering her passion for orthodontics. She engaged in ongoing education through Orthodontic departments linked to Sao Paulo University-Bauru and Profis to improve her skills.

Dr Ana’s scientific curiosity in clinical research led her to complete a mini-residency in the department of Orthodontics at Florence University in Italy, and a couple of years later, another mini-residency at Connecticut University in the USA. The effort has been reflected not only in beautiful smiles for the patients, but also a better understanding of different techniques to rich good results in terms of function.
