At About Smiles we are able to perform the procedure within a day, where typically it takes an implant dentist three days. This is possible thanks to our state-of-the-art facilities and comprehensive team. During the course of the day we’ll perform several steps to ensure an excellent outcome:

• In the morning a preoperative assessment of your smile line, jaw bone density and existing teeth.
• Followed by surgery to place the implants and, where necessary, bone grafting and extraction of remaining teeth. Our options in sleep/sedation dentistry make this part of the process more comfortable for patients.
• After surgery you’ll be taken to our recovery room (or relaxation room) where you can recuperate from your surgery. Relax on the reclinable sofa while you watch television or listen to music in total privacy.
• While you recover, our technicians will fabricate an initial temporary bridge in our in-house dental lab based on the initial impressions we took that morning.
• Once created the bridge will be fitted, adjusted and properly seated in your mouth. This temporary bridge will be used for the first several months while your implants fully integrate.
• When your bridges are properly in place you’ll be free to leave the clinic that afternoon with brand new teeth.
